Campaign Update 3: Iran War

We welcome the Iran Ceasefire Deal. The agreement reopens the Strait of Hormuz, commits Iran not to develop nuclear weapons, and provides funding for reconstruction. It returns the region to where it stood before the conflict began in February, while leaving deeper issues unresolved. Even so, negotiation is always better than war. Arise members have been praying and campaigning for peace. Now we must keep up the pressure for lasting solutions that advance peace, democracy and human rights in Iran and across the region. Speaking at UK Book launch

Arise is really pleased to collaborate and support the UK launch of the new book by Jo Knight, CEO of Anglican Overseas Aid, and long-time friend of Arise. The book invites Christians to take climate justice seriously, through inspiring stories, creative reflection and biblical teaching. Campaign Update 2: Iran War

Well, a lot has happened in the week since our last campaign update on the Iran War. We now have a ceasefire in Lebanon, possible further peace talks in Pakistan, the double-blockade of the Strait of Hormuz by both sides, an Iranian ship seized, and continued chaos on global markets. Keep praying, and raising your voice with Arise for peace, negotiations, reform, democracy and human rights in this fast-moving situation. (20 Apr 2026)

Campaign Update 1: Iran War

Last month Arise activists prayed and took action for peace and an end to the war in Iran. We now have a ceasefire in Iran at least, if not yet Lebanon. But tensions of course remain very high. We are in the final stages of revising and producing a new updated version of the Arise Manifesto, our big picture, researched, Biblical, holistic and practical vision for a better world. Check out the current version on our website here and watch out for the new revised version coming your way soon. It has so much to say about God’s plan for our world, and our mission as his people to play our part in bringing that about. (10 Mar 2026)

Christian festivals

Arise is currently exploring possible partnerships with a number of Christian festivals, this summer and in the following years. These are great opportunities for Christians to meet, seek God together and grow in our faith. Pray they will be great opportunities for more and more people to catch hold of the Arise vision.
