Arise speakers

Would you like a speaker from Arise to come to your church?  Arise speakers can help your church to understand God’s vision for our world, our mission as his followers in that work, and the part each individual one of us has to play in sharing faith through evangelism, growing in that faith through discipleship, fighting for a more socially just world, ending poverty and restoring the environment.  They can help your church think about practical ways we can put this into practice in our lives, one step at a time.  Contact Arise to request a speaker today. (2 July 2026)

Campaign Update 3: Iran War

We welcome the Iran Ceasefire Deal. The agreement reopens the Strait of Hormuz, commits Iran not to develop nuclear weapons, and provides funding for reconstruction. It returns the region to where it stood before the conflict began in February, while leaving deeper issues unresolved. Even so, negotiation is always better than war. Arise members have been praying and campaigning for peace. Now we must keep up the pressure for lasting solutions that advance peace, democracy and human rights in Iran and across the region. Speaking at UK Book launch

Arise is really pleased to collaborate and support the UK launch of the new book by Jo Knight, CEO of Anglican Overseas Aid, and long-time friend of Arise. The book invites Christians to take climate justice seriously, through inspiring stories, creative reflection and biblical teaching. Campaign Update 2: Iran War

Well, a lot has happened in the week since our last campaign update on the Iran War. We now have a ceasefire in Lebanon, possible further peace talks in Pakistan, the double-blockade of the Strait of Hormuz by both sides, an Iranian ship seized, and continued chaos on global markets. Keep praying, and raising your voice with Arise for peace, negotiations, reform, democracy and human rights in this fast-moving situation. (20 Apr 2026)

Campaign Update 1: Iran War

Last month Arise activists prayed and took action for peace and an end to the war in Iran. We now have a ceasefire in Iran at least, if not yet Lebanon. But tensions of course remain very high.
